Mr. Luqman El-Kasabany is the Managing Director of Shaykhi Academy and a native Arabic speaker from Egypt. He graduated from the Faculty of Languages and Translation at Al-Azhar University in Cairo with a bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies (English Language).
As a Hafiz of the Holy Qur’an, he has earned multiple Qur’an Ijazat in various Qira’at, authorizing him to recite and teach the Qur’an professionally. He has extensive experience teaching Tajweed and Arabic reading to non-native speakers of different ages and backgrounds.
During his studies at Al-Azhar University, he specialized in a wide range of Islamic sciences, including Tajweed, Arabic language, Fiqh, Aqeedah, Seerah, Tafseer, and Hadith. He now teaches these subjects through online classes.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Mr. El-Kasabany is the author of Al-Menhaj, Shaykhi Academy’s official curriculum, and serves as the academy’s Supervisor and Education Manager.
He is also committed to continuous personal and professional development, with additional training in child development, PMP certification, and digital marketing.
At 26 years old, Masha’Allah, his energy and enthusiasm help him connect with younger students and create an engaging learning experience.
